Another Successful Tennis BC Coaching Development Series

On October 18, Hazelmere was pleased to host its third Tennis BC coaching development series at our club.

We are proud to continue supporting coaching education and professional development, providing opportunities for coaches to learn, exchange ideas, and strengthen their skills.

A big thank you to Tennis BC for continuing to work with Hazelmere and giving our club the opportunity to support coach development in our local tennis community.

Supporting coaches. Growing tennis. 🎾

From Summer Courts to Indoor Fun!

On October 24, Hazelmere welcomed a group of familiar faces from the Crescent Beach Swimming Club (CBSC) community for a fun evening of indoor tennis!

Many of these players, coaches, and volunteers enjoy spending time together during the summer, and with the outdoor season winding down, it was a great opportunity to bring that same energy and community spirit indoors at Hazelmere.

From 5:00–7:00 p.m., our club coaches, Owen and Thomas, led a lively session featuring live-ball and castle drills, giving everyone a chance to stay active, enjoy some friendly competition, and have fun on court.

It's wonderful to see people keeping their sporting connections going beyond the summer season. We hope everyone had a great evening and look forward to welcoming them back for more indoor tennis!

Summer friendships, indoor tennis, and plenty of fun! 🎾

Our First Club Championship Ladder Comes to a Close!

Our first-ever Hazelmere Tennis Club Championship Ladder officially concludes on October 31!

Thank you to everyone who participated, arranged matches, and helped make our inaugural ladder season a fun and competitive experience. It has been great to see members getting on court, challenging themselves, and connecting with fellow players.

The ladder was introduced to create more opportunities for members to compete, enjoy friendly match play, and be part of our club tennis community.

The winners will be announced here on the Hazelmere Tennis Club blog following the conclusion of the competition. Our trophy presentation will take place on December 1 at the Hazelmere Tennis Club Christmas Party.

Stay tuned as we prepare to recognize our champions and celebrate their achievements!

Keep playing. Keep competing. Keep climbing! 🏆
