Celebrating Our First-Ever League Season-End Social
What a night! In August, we hosted our very first League Season-End Social, bringing together players from across our Spring League season to celebrate the season, the matches, and the friendships built along the way.
The day certainly did not go exactly as planned. With a power outage and road closure affecting the area, we faced some unexpected challenges. But thanks to everyone's patience, flexibility, and positive attitude, we were still able to come together and enjoy a great evening.
A special thank you to everyone who helped make the night possible, including our staff, organizers, and everyone who attended and helped create such a great atmosphere.
Most importantly, thank you to all of our Spring League players for making the season such a success. We look forward to building on this event and making it even bigger and better in the future!
Tennis BC Instructor Coaching Course Returns to Hazelmere
We are excited to welcome Tennis BC back to Hazelmere this September for another Instructor Coaching Course.
Dates: September 5–6 & September 26–27
Location: Hazelmere Golf & Tennis Club
This will be the second Tennis BC Instructor Coaching Course hosted at Hazelmere this year, providing coaches from across the region with the opportunity to learn, develop, and continue growing their coaching skills.
We are proud to continue working with Tennis BC and to have Hazelmere serve as a place where coaches can develop and where tennis continues to grow in our community.
Tennis BC AGM Comes to Hazelmere
September will also mark another exciting first for our club.
For the first time, Hazelmere will host the Tennis BC Annual General Meeting (AGM).
This is a meaningful milestone for our club and an exciting step forward for the tennis community throughout Delta, South Surrey, Langley, and the Fraser Valley Area.
We are proud to welcome Tennis BC to Hazelmere and to play a part in bringing members, leaders, and tennis communities from across the region together.
We look forward to being part of this important event and continuing to strengthen Hazelmere's connection with the broader tennis community.
Club Championship Ladder Begins September 1
Our Club Championship Ladder is back!
September 1 – October 31
This year, we're introducing a new format and a new system, designed to create more opportunities for members to compete, connect, and—most importantly—play more tennis.
What to expect:
- New Format
A fresh approach to our Club Championship designed to create a more engaging experience for everyone. - New System
Matches and results will be managed through our new online ladder system, making it easier to keep track of your progress. - More Tennis
The ladder format gives players more opportunities to compete throughout the season rather than having their championship experience end after just one match. - Flexible Competition
Arrange matches with your opponents and find times that work with your schedule.
Whether you're looking for competitive matches, new opponents, or simply more reasons to get out on the court, we hope you'll take part.
New format. New system. More tennis.
We're looking forward to seeing lots of our members participate and making this year's Club Championship Ladder a great one!
